Anamaria Štiglić graduated from the Faculty of Law of the University of Rijeka in 2007. She began her professional career as an intern at the Municipal Court in Rijeka, and after passing the Bar Exam, she worked as an advisor at the Municipal Civil Court in Zagreb (land registry department). Upon enrolling in the first generation of students at the State School for Judicial Officials in 2011, she was appointed senior advisor to the Municipal State Attorney in Rijeka, and in 2015, she was appointed Deputy Municipal State Attorney. In her previous work, she focused on systematically resolving ownership issues of the Republic of Croatia relating to campsites, tourist and other construction land that was not appraised during the privatisation process, as well as military properties, forests and forest land, and maritime domain. For her work on these cases and her success in this role, she was awarded the State Attorney's Commendation in 2022.
