About the Author

Atila Čokolić was born in 1965 in Belišće. He graduated from the Faculty of Law in Osijek in 1991. He obtained his doctorate from the Faculty of Law in Osijek on 14 July 2011, on the dissertation titled ‘Implementation of Civil Codification and Institutionalisation of the Legal Profession in the Legal System of the Triune Kingdom of Croatia, Slavonia, and Dalmatia, with Special Emphasis on the Attorney–Client Contractual Relationship’. Since 1995, he has been a lawyer in Osijek. In 2021, Atila was elected to the title of assistant professor in the scientific field of social sciences, in the subfield of law. At the Faculty of Law of the Catholic University of Croatia, he is a member of the Department of Legal History. He has also been a member of the Examination Committee for the Bar Exam at the Ministry of Justice of the Republic of Croatia, for the group of subjects on Civil Procedure Law and Family Law, since 2013. He has published about forty scientific papers in the fields of law and art history. Atila was an active participant in the Homeland War as a member of the 106th Brigade in Osijek.
