Igor was born in Osijek on 4 November 1982. He graduated from the Faculty of Law in Osijek in 2006. Igor earned a PhD from the Faculty of Law at the University of Zagreb in 2011. He passed the Bar Examination cum laude for achieving 96 points in 2021. He is currently employed as a full professor in the Department of Criminal Law Sciences at the Faculty of Law in Osijek. Igor has undertaken several professional and research training programs at distinguished institutions abroad, and has authored or co-authored approximately seventy scientific and professional papers, two scholarly monographs, and a commentary on the Criminal Code.
