Mirela Krešić
About the Author
Mirela Krešić is a full professor at the Department of History of Croatian Law and State, Faculty of Law, University of Zagreb, where she also obtained her PhD in legal sciences (2009). Her research interests include Croatian legal history, particularly the application of the General Civil Code (Allgemeines bürgerliches Gesetzbuch) in Croatia, the status of women, inheritance law and notarial law, as well as commercial law, civil procedure law and family law in interwar Yugoslavia, and the status of the Islamic community in Croatia. She has participated in numerous scientific and research projects in Croatia and abroad and is a regularly speaker at national and international conferences. The author has written a number of scientific papers and book chapters in the field of legal history. She is a member of the editorial boards of the journals Časopis za suvremenu povijest, Díké, and the Journal on European History of Law.
