About the Author

Gloria Gudelj was born in 1993 in Osijek. She graduated in 2018 from the Faculty of Law at the University of Zagreb, defending her thesis titled ’Protection of Crown Witnesses in the Republic of Croatia’. Since 2019, she has been employed at the Municipal State Attorney’s Office in Zagreb, where she currently works at the Department for Economic Crime. During her traineeship, she participated in the international THEMIS competition for judicial trainees, organised by the European Judicial Training Network (EJTN). In November 2021, she passed the Bar Exam, and in the 2023/2024 academic year, she completed the State School for Judicial Officials. In May 2025, she was appointed Deputy Municipal State Attorney. Gloria is the author of a number of papers, including ’Criminal Procedure and Execution of Sentences in the Third Reich’ (2018) and ’Legal Regulation of Stalking in Croatian and Foreign Legislation’ (2019), as well as co-author of ‘The Position of Female Victims in Criminal Proceedings Concerning Sexual Violence: de facto and de iure Challenges’ (2020).
