Sara Horvatić
About the Author
Sara Horvatić was born in Zagreb in 1997. She graduated from the Faculty of Law, University of Zagreb, in 2021, having defended her master’s thesis titled ‘Arbitration During the COVID-19 Pandemic’. She began her professional career in private practice, where she worked mostly in civil law while continuously developing expertise in land registry law and property law. After passing her bar examination with cum laude in January 2024, she gained an interest in criminal law and, in August 2024, began working at the Municipal Criminal State Attorney’s Office in Zagreb. Later, she enrolled in and completed the State School for Judicial Officials programme. She is a co-author of ‘(Criminal) Law and (Public) Order as an Instrument for Preventing or Creating Violence? A Criminal-Law and Criminological Analysis of Violent Conduct’ ((Kazneni) zakon i (javni) red kao instrument sprječavanja ili kreiranja nasilja? Kaznenopravna i kriminološka analiza nasilničkog ponašanja) (2025).
