Ljubomir Petruljeskov is an international rule-of-law and mediation professional with more than fifteen years of experience supporting justice-sector reform, alternative dispute resolution (ADR) and institutional capacity building across Europe, Central Asia and Southeast Asia. He currently leads multi-country programmes at the International Development Law Organization (IDLO), working with governments, judicial institutions and international partners to strengthen legal frameworks, dispute resolution systems and economic governance.

In addition to his work with IDLO, he collaborates with international financial institutions, including the European Bank for Reconstruction and Development (EBRD) and the Asian Development Bank (ADB), on initiatives aimed at improving access to justice, strengthening commercial law frameworks and supporting regulatory and institutional reforms.

A JAMS Weinstein Fellow and certified mediator, Ljubomir also contributes to international academic and professional training programmes. Within the Universities Network for Children in Armed Conflict, his work focuses on the role of mediation, dialogue facilitation and inclusive dispute resolution in addressing conflicts affecting children and promoting peaceful conflict transformation.
