Nives Baškiera is a senior adviser–specialist at the State Attorney's Office of the Republic of Croatia. After graduating from the Faculty of Law in Zagreb in 2012, she began her career as a trainee attorney at a law firm, where she practised in civil law, enforcement proceedings, and labour relations, and passed the bar examination. In 2017, she took up a position as an adviser at the Office for the Suppression of Corruption and Organised Crime, where she worked for two years before joining the State Attorney's Office of the Republic of Croatia, specifically the Office of the State Attorney General. In addition to handling matters within the competence of the state-attorney administration and civil-service relations, she performs the duties of the Information Officer and Ethics Commissioner.
